Terms of Service

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they should read these terms and the privacy policy with you.

One account per person. Do not share your login.

Fireback gives you AI opponents to practise against and AI-generated feedback on how you spoke. It is a practice tool.

It is not a qualification, an examiner, or a guarantee. The band scores and persuasion scores it produces are estimates generated by a language model. They are useful for tracking your own progress over time. They are not an official IELTS or TOEFL result, they do not predict your real exam outcome, and no university, employer or exam board recognises them.

The AI characters are fictional. Anything they say is generated, and may be wrong.

What you say and upload stays yours. You give us permission to process it only so far as it takes to run the service: transcribing it, generating a reply, scoring it, and showing it back to you.

We do not use your recordings or transcripts to train AI models, and we do not publish them.

Do not use Fireback to:

• upload recordings of someone who has not agreed to be recorded;
• produce or upload anything illegal, hateful, or sexual;
• attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service;
• resell access, or share one account across many people.

Free and Premium plans both carry usage limits, published on the pricing page. These exist because every AI round costs real money to run. Deliberately working around them may cost you your account.

Premium is billed monthly through Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. Your contract for the payment itself is with Paddle, and their terms apply to the transaction.

It renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. See the refund policy.

We may change the price. If we do, we will tell you before it affects a renewal, and you are free to cancel.

Fireback is a young product. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, and features may change. If we ever shut the service down, we will give notice and a way to export your data.

To the extent the law allows, Fireback is provided as is, and our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

You can delete your account whenever you like from your profile. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will explain why unless doing so would be unsafe or unlawful.
